Thoughts
I expected the CB500X to feel like a clear step up from my CRF250 Rally, but strangely it never really did. The little CRF somehow felt better put together and more like the Honda quality I was used to.
Even as a commuter, I think I preferred the Rally. The CB500X is definitely not a bad bike — it's practical, capable and does almost everything well — it just never felt quite as special as I expected.
